The Roripaugh Family Foundation

About Us

Leo Roripaugh lived all of his 90 years in the Temecula Valley.  He loved nothing in life more than his Elsinore High School sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Marian.  At one time they raised grain, hay and garden crops along with hundreds of beef cattle on several thousand acres in the valley.  As he was approaching the last years of his life Leo said “Temecula has been good to us and I want to give something back.”  He prepared instructions for his family to establish a foundation that would fund purposes near his heart and benefit his beloved hometown beyond his lifetime.

December 2004 is the first month grants will be distributed from The Roripaugh Family Foundation.  The recipients include the Friends of the Temecula Library, Temecula Museum, Vail Ranch restoration, Dorland Art Center and the Santa Rosa Plateau.  The Board of Directors believes that Leo would be proud to support these projects and the volunteers who devote their time and energy to making Temecula an even better place to live.

Leo’s granddaughters, Tisha Roripaugh and Dana Kennedy, his grandson, Jon Tull, his son Jack, daughter June, and long time friends and advisors, Tom Huntington and Keith Johnson make up the initial Board of Directors for The Roripaugh Family Foundation.
